Entramos a un nuevo año (2009) y que mejor que recibirlo escuchando el mejor Rock que se está haciendo en la hermana República de Argentina, y si viste. Se trata de un power trío que lleva más de 20 años en escena y aunque son bastante bajo perfil, es necesario decir que su sonido es de gran calidad.
Divididos, como descendientes legítimos de otra gran banda argentina como Sumo, tiene el gran peso de hacer buena música y a mi parecer en este caso, el discípulo supera al mestro, ya que el sonido de Divididos es tremendo, deben estar actualmente dentro del mejor Rock Sudamericano.
Gran sorpresa fue para mi ver la noticia que publicaron en su página oficial, en la que anuncian la visita de este power trío a Chile para el 31 de enero. Con esto quiero hacer que corran la voz a todos los amantes de la mejor música criolla, ya que será una oportunidad única para ponerse al dia con la historia del Rock Latino.
El sonido de Divididos es potente y claramente es la evolución de lo que hacía Sumo en los 80'. Con el tiempo fueron adquiriendo un perfil propio muy particular, mucho más rockero con alguna influencia funk. Tanto fue así que hoy es conocido como "La Aplanadora del Rock".
Están vigentes desde 1988 y sus miembros son Ricardo Mollo (Guitarra y voz) y Diego Arnedo (Bajo). Ambos son herederos de la gloriosa banda "Sumo". La batería ha sido el único puesto en que ha experimentado con varios miembros. Al comienzo estuvo Gustavo Collado, después fue reemplazado por Jorge Araujo. Actualmente el dueño de las baguetas en Divididos es el talentoso Catriel Ciavarella.
Misión cumplida. Ahora corran la voz para que nadie quede fuera de este fantástico show de eufórico Rock!!
